About Us

SafeHoods was founded by Rick Rinaldo who previously spent a 20+ year career in corporate finance at some large name employers you may recognize like Nordstrom, Expedia, Trendwest Resorts, and Discovery Channel. Prior to his corporate years, Rick spent over a decade working in the restaurant business. He’s been a dishwasher, host, busboy, waiter, prep cook, cook, and assistant manager. Wanting to run his own service business, Rick started SafeHoods in 2016.

SafeHoods is a certified commercial kitchen hood cleaning business that also offers filter exchange and fan maintenance/repair. SafeHoods is operated out of a shop in Kent, Washington and serves Puget Sound area restaurants and other commercial kitchens. Covering King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties, as far north as Everett, throughout the Seattle and Bellevue areas, south into Tacoma, and east to North Bend, SafeHoods looks forward to partnering with you for your commercial kitchen exhaust hood system needs.
